Excitement is growing in Metro Phoenix as a new Whole Foods Market prepares to open in downtown Scottsdale, boosting the area’s organic grocery scene.
Set at Indian School and Miller roads, the store will fill a 35,222-square-foot space in the Downtown East Shopping Center, near Old Town Scottsdale and Scottsdale Fashion Square.
This location replaces a Fry’s that served the neighborhood for 48 years, with major renovations now underway and opening expected by early 2026.
As the fifth Whole Foods in Metro Phoenix, the store promises abundant organic produce, sustainable meats, and global prepared foods to fit different diets.
Shoppers can also look forward to a full-service coffee and juice bar, adding to the experience.
This arrival brings not only more healthy gourmet choices but also new energy to the shopping center, likely paving the way for additional national retailers and local jobs.
